Improved format: Council Tax Support results

We have improved the way in which we display results about Council Tax Support. We have made the wording clearer to make it easier to understand how the amount of Council Tax Support has been calculated, and have made sure that users only see information about aspects of Council Tax Support which apply to their local authority.
New feature: Standard Financial Statement Spending Guidelines

We have created a new section in the Benefit and Budgeting Calculator which compares costs entered to the Standard Financial Statement (SFS) Spending Guidelines (‘trigger figures’). This change came after some feedback from enforcement agencies who use these to gain an understanding of a client’s circumstances. This section is available for professionals working in the debt advice sector who have an SFS membership code - if this applies to you and you would like to access this new feature, please get in touch and we can enable it for you.

New alert: Help to Save Account

A new notification about Help to Save Accounts has been added. These accounts have recently been launched to help people on low incomes build up their savings. This alert will allow you to pass on information about these accounts to those who are eligible.

Please give your feedback

You are an important customer for us and we want to continue to deliver value to you. Please take our short feedback survey to tell us how we can serve you better, and to help shape our product development pipeline. Your answers are invaluable to us.

We really appreciate your purchase of the Benefit and Budgeting Calculator, which we built to help you grow the financial resilience of the people you support. Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Update: removed alerts about Universal Credit live areas

Now that Universal Credit is live across the UK, we have removed the alerts indicating whether the user is in a Universal Credit area or not.

We run free introductory training webinars for all our customers. Scheduled every month and lasting 45 minutes, the online sessions go through the main features of the Benefit and Budgeting Calculator. Perfect for introducing new users or refreshing existing users.

Our next online training session is Wednesday 13 March, 12:00 - 12:45.
