Live now: changes to your Benefit and Budgeting Calculator
Your calculator has been given a refresh. Read about the five main changes we've made below.

When you log in to your calculator you will see a new layout that is clearer so you can give comprehensive support to the people you help more quickly and efficiently.

Behind the scenes, we've enhanced the technology so we can make changes quicker and introduce more customisation elements in the future.
1. Easier to view calculation results and actions

The calculation results are now much clearer with actions such as accessing further information or applying for support now more readily identifiable.

You will notice that we have also changed the selection buttons at the top so that you can easily see which results you are viewing, and readily switch between legacy benefits and Universal Credit results.
2. Easier to see important additional information on the results page

Important additional information is now better displayed on the results page. This will help you to advise clients by ensuring they know all relevant information about their claim and any actions that they can take to maximise income.
3. Easier to view pop up advice

The new layout allows you to automatically see the advice about each input without needing to scroll up and down. This is because it is now displayed in a wider box to make better use of the space.
4. Easier to see which page and scenario you're working on

The scenario and page that you are currently working are now better highlighted. This allows you to easily see where you are in the calculation and which scenario you are working on.
5. Easier to see a summary of your case at a glance

The right hand panel has been simplified providing a simple summary of the case at a glance.
Your branding is now more evident throughout your calculator

For clients who choose to customise their calculator with their own branding we can now apply this more consistently throughout your calculator. You can choose to apply your primary and secondary brand colours to more places, as well as change the header colour to reflect your brand.
We run regular, free introductory training webinars for all our customers. Scheduled every second week of the month and lasting 45 minutes, the online sessions go through the main features of the Benefit and Budgeting Calculator. Perfect for introducing new users or refreshing existing users.
