Live now: changes to your Benefit and Budgeting Calculator
Update: Improved student income section

We know that many students are claiming Universal Credit and other benefits as a result of Covid-19 so we've improved the student sections of the calculator, especially that on student income. We've also updated the explanation boxes to clarify what each income type is, and to explain whether or not the income will be considered during benefit calculations.
Update: Add health insurance payments

We have added the ability to enter health insurance payments from former employers. Like pension payments, these payments are offset against contributory ESA if the recipient did not contribute more than 50%.

Update: Improved search for saved cases

The calculator now allows you to search for case name, date and advisor name all at the same time. Just enter these fields separated by commas to find your case.

For example, you can search for Test case, 05/10 to search for cases named Test case saved on 5 October.

Update: Notifications within the calculator

We have added notifications within the calculator. From now on, when any changes are made to the calculator, you will see a notification the next time you log in to the calculator. These notifications will include policy updates as well as new features that we have added to the calculator.
Free support page on Your income and Coronavirus (COVID-19)

We have created a welfare support page Your income and Coronavirus (COVID-19) to clearly show what support you might get if your income is affected by Coronavirus. We are updating this page with each announcement by the Government. Please feel free to link to it on your own websites and other communication channels to help your residents understand what support they are eligible for if they or their businesses are impacted by Coronavirus.

We run regular, free introductory training webinars for all our customers. Scheduled every second week of the month and lasting 45 minutes, the online sessions go through the main features of the Benefit and Budgeting Calculator. Perfect for introducing new users or refreshing existing users.

Our next online training session is Tuesday 10 November at 12:00 to 12:45.
